1920
Foundation of the company as a factory for shoe soles and heels and construction of the plant on Hattinger Straße in Schwelm. Subsequently expansion of the product range to include rubber hoses, solid rubber wheels, seals, etc.
In 1920, our family founded the company as a manufacturer of technical rubber goods in Wuppertal/Germany. We were able to continuously expand our product range from shoe soles and heels to rubber hoses, solid rubber wheels, seals and molded rubber parts. In the post-war period, we successfully established ourselves as an international automotive supplier for media-carrying line systems.
Today, our factories in Germany and locations in Eastern Europe, China and Mexico form the basis of our competence and global presence. PASS remains family-owned to this day and is currently in its fourth generation. We are proud to have 4500 employees around the world as part of the PASS family.

From founding to the first electronic component
1930
The company expands through the acquisition of the factory building on Schwelmer Street in Wuppertal.
1950
Start of production of molded rubber articles in the chassis sector for the automotive industry.
1960
Construction of the rubber mixing plant.
1965
Extrusion of mono-rubber hoses.
1985
Production of moulded plastic articles and rubber hoses commences.
1995
Extrusion and bending of plastic pipes commences.
1989
PASS Polska in Sanok, Poland is founded.
1990
Construction of the building at 11 Berliner Street in Schwelm, which today functions as the company’s head office.
2000
Construction of the plastic injection moulding plant at 47 Berliner Street in Schwelm.
2005
Development of reinforced multi-layer rubber hoses.
2006
Facilities for the production of metal lines are put in place.
2008
Production of fuel pipes commences.
PASS SK in Spišská Nová Ves, Slovakia is founded.
2010
PUR foam production starts.
2013
PASS Automotive Components in China is founded.
2014
PASS Automotive México in Irapuato, Mexico is founded.
2015
Expansion of company head office in Schwelm.
2018
PASS BA in Bijeljina, Bosnia is founded.
2020
Development of electronic components introduced.
